A studio photo shoot for  photographer Janne-Henrik Fjäder

The purpose of the shoot was to capture a shot that would advertise him as a photographer, mainly focused at photography taking place at sea.

I used two lights, red and green, to create a dramatic look. Red and green lights are also used on ships as signal lights during dark hours. A red light is used on the left hand side of the ship (port side), and green light on the right hand side (starboard).

I got a lot of material from the shoot, that can be used later on.  Here are a few examples, where I documented series of different facial expressions.

All the photos were retouched from RAW using Lightroom.

A studio photo shoot for  student Liisa Arponen

Liisa is a university student, and she wanted to have a decent photo that can be used for example in job hunting on LinkedIn.
For practice, I also created a bit more artistic interpretation of my own favourite photo.

Product photography: Vintage flashlight

The purpose was to create a little bit rough and damaged images. I used a product photography table to create infinity affect. Afterwards I converted the photos to black and white in Lightroom, emphasised scratches and created vintage texture.
